Beloved One, the SoulCoach Sun-level journey — awakening the spiritual therapist and healer within — is officially closing, with graduation this afternoon. I am surprised how quickly 1 year of SunCoach passed, and that I have already traveled 2 years with SoulCoach. Sometimes it feels as long as a decade, sometimes so fast, because I do not want it to end or stop. I am profoundly grateful for the connection that brought me to SoulCoach and a guiding Teacher, Tạ Minh Tuấn, our “young father,” full of love, wisdom, humility, and acceptance. Through “father,” we are always taught what is right, trained, and helped to cultivate our hearts and improve our character. “Father” is always gentle yet firm, giving us ample time and opportunities to learn and practice with understanding and great love. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful “father,” helping us understand lessons and especially our role and responsibility in receiving and being entrusted with the methods.
With all my love, reverence, and gratitude, I thank You, my Teacher, my husband and daughter, my family, classmates, Việt, and myself for allowing me to join this wonderful SoulCoach journey. In year 2, I could learn, do what I always wanted, and help those needing help. I am happy to walk this path, experiencing inner and outer connection and harmony, and therefore peace and happiness in the journey.
I know I still have many shortcomings to transform and much to explore more deeply, to cleanse and integrate the qualities I need. The transformation journey remains long, and I must keep striving forward. Sometimes I prioritize work over practice; there are distortions I have recognized but have not firmly resolved to transform. I still let ‘bad companions’ walk with me because they have been with me so long, reluctant to part even though they are bad. But the time has come to bravely face my darkness and grow into a new version of myself—not only for my own sake, but because of my responsibility as a therapist.
Today I am first looking at what I have not yet achieved, and then I will write down which distortions I need to transform and prioritize transforming. Looking at them reminds me that I still have a long journey ahead, that I should not become conceited or relax my practice, and that I should be even more humble, knowing that more responsibilities lie ahead as I enter the SourceCoach journey.
I am glad I have changed. Looking back on the journey, I now know my priorities are different. I feel more mature because I do not focus on achievements—ranked number 3—or what I have gained, but prioritize gratitude, because that is what is overflowing through my consciousness and body right now.
2nd, look back at my shortcomings, what I have not yet accomplished, where I remain complacent and have not fully applied myself, and where I still have not recognized that spiritual practice must come first.
This Gratitude and Recognition of my limitations will equip me to enter next year more steadily, persistently, and responsibly.
And now, looking back on the journey, I am truly surprised to have learned and practiced so much valuable content.
Body and Mind Cleansing Coach — this course made me more confident in sharing and supporting others in cleansing practices. I like being a companion, sharing and supporting others, especially loved ones, because cleansing brings many benefits to physical and mental health. Having practiced 3 times myself and received thorough, detailed instruction on guiding others, I am more confident sharing. I was delighted that my older sister and my husband's youngest sibling successfully completed a 3-day cleanse. My classmates and I also supported community members participating in the Cleansing and Awakening workshop. We shared and supported together, and most participants achieved good results: some felt healthier, some lost weight, and some felt happier and overcame limiting thoughts and fears they had before joining. It was a joyful and happy experience with everyone. Even more happily, this year my husband joined me in cleansing, doubling the joy.
I am happy and grateful that the practices at SunCoach are given at just the right time, as though the Divine and Teacher know precisely when is appropriate. When learning quantum verification, I could apply it immediately in daily life and felt peaceful choosing a school for my child—light, with no more pressure. I now experience having a method of connection and receiving better guidance from the Teacher. I also know I must devote myself more deeply to connecting; then I will be closer to Teacher, closer to the Divine, and ‘closer’ to myself—to my own sacred essence. The journey of self-understanding continues.
Receiving many methods in Awakening Medicine feels immensely valuable. Now, when I or a family member has pain, beyond analyzing and understanding the lesson, I have methods to offer immediate support. After just over 10 minutes, the pain decreases considerably, sometimes disappearing completely. I no longer worry whenever my child says they hurt in 1 place, nor worry too much when I hear Mother is ill, because each pain and illness is a teacher, helping me understand the lesson, what needs changing, and how the body can recover. Learning and practice go hand in hand. I have many opportunities to practice, not only with family but also in the community and with people I have never known. Looking back, I have supported 20 people, many of them several times for different pain symptoms, using different methods. Each time I practice, I learn a great deal and grow more confident, doing better as I see my support bring some results for that person.
And I cannot know when someone will need my help, so I must keep practicing and always be ready. My inner self has guided me to act naturally and recognize that this is a healer's true value. Always being ready within is what matters most; helping others does not always require 1 therapy session. My peaceful, gentle energy, understanding, and listening can sometimes already be 1 medicine.
I know my journey is only beginning, yet it is valuable. I still need to work very, very hard and go much further to help my loved ones and those with whom I share a connection.
What makes me happiest may be that I now receive information peacefully, even unhappy news such as a relative being ill or an acquaintance being unhappy… I respect each person's journey and understand; when someone needs support, I can help immediately with the methods I have learned. I no longer feel anxious, afraid, or confused about what to do, nor sad and helpless when I want to help but cannot. I recall the first day I read about the SoulCoach program on the School of Liberation website. Something within me exclaimed that this was the course I needed and wanted to take, because afterward I could help my loved ones and others better. And indeed, only now do I truly understand the meaning of “helping others.” When I was still “weak,” I could do nothing despite wanting to help; only with enough “ability” could I help. Yet how I “can help” and what results follow do not lie in my ability, but in the Teacher and the person needing help. Are they ready to become well? Have they understood the lesson? Are they ready to change old habits to become healthy?
Thank you for continually refining me each day. Whatever you have just taught, Teacher, you then “create the circumstances” for me to practice and experience. I come to study with inner “faith” and keep walking each day. I am so happy to have a wonderful Teacher guiding me, even though we meet every 2 weeks along this journey. Before learning methods, we must cultivate qualities and ethics. This is what I treasure most and respect you most for. In every class you offer deep, careful reminders so we do not become attached to supernatural powers or wonderful abilities, but learn to cultivate ethics, humility, and reverence, and understand our responsibilities as healers. The higher the role, the greater the responsibility. Everything must be done with abundant love; the more love, the more responsibility. Understanding the weight of the “healer” role keeps us continually learning, training, and practicing. Learning a therapist's ethics is far more important, and it is not taught in just 1 course. You have taught this lesson in every class throughout the past 1 year, watering it, pouring it into us, and nourishing us each day. Throughout that 1 year we have learned many Soul methods, but most of all methods of the heart. The heart must be clear, with right aspiration, love, compassion, humility, and surrender to you; then we can move with everything, receive guidance, and practice. I feel happy and treasure every teaching so we can learn and act correctly from the beginning. Our “father” does not want us to go wrong and then correct mistakes. Even though mistakes can teach, if possible we should do things right from the beginning, continually integrating the right codes and practicing correctly little by little.
Over the past year, we accompanied each other again. Our beloved home is our fellow SunCoachees; we are family, where I belong, where I am loved, understood, listened to, encouraged, inspired, taught through shared experience, and where we “have each other's backs.” Together we walk step by step and climb higher, just like our step-by-step journey to the summit of Yên Tử. Walking together, we follow the Teacher's footsteps: he steps, I step, and before we know it, we are at the summit. Someone with knee osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, 2 broken leg bones from an accident, and rapid heartbeat (paroxysmal tachycardia)—yet I completed that journey peacefully and smoothly. Because the Teacher was ahead of me and my fellow Soul companions beside me; because “this is a journey I need to take, and whatever happens, I remain fulfilled within.” When I was fulfilled inside, I became fulfilled outside too: I did it. No words can fully express the sacredness and emotion of sitting at the Teacher's feet at Đồng Pagoda on Yên Tử's summit, receiving his Dharma teachings and initiation, having our “eyes opened” so I could see my mission and continue to “see the Dharma” and practice it. Everything we receive is a precious gift, and we always have a “responsibility” to use that “gift” well.
The SoulCoach journey feels close and dear because we study and practice amid everyday life. Sitting beside the fire roasting corn and sweet potatoes, sharing each member's practice experiences, and hearing bright laughter bring warmth and boundless happiness in the freezing weather — these are wonderful moments together. I treasure being part of the dear SoulCoach family.
One journey ends to open a new one with greater transformation and evolution. I will walk with abundant love and trust, practicing steadily to “grow” further. As in my old aspiration, simply be a tree, growing larger and casting shade, helping make the environment fresher and providing another “cool place” for someone with the right connection to find shelter and peace. I am happy knowing I am 1 piece in the beautiful picture of our great community's transformation.
Once again, thank you for this journey of enlightenment. Thank you, Teacher, for letting me study SoulCoach — awaken the therapist within, cultivate a therapist's qualities and ethics, learn and practice the methods, be loved and be myself, transform and evolve. Respect and Gratitude!!!
